As a result of participating in Project Cornerstone, parents will make intentional efforts to build positive relationships with other children at their child’s school. Intentional efforts may include smiling, greeting students by name, having conversations with students outside of the classroom, giving a student advice or help, and noticing, naming and celebrating something positive about a student.

- attend monthly county meetings
- prepare lesson plan for volunteer readers
- review lesson plan and lead discussion with volunteer readers
- coordinate distributing lesson plans and organize PC library
VOLUNTEER READERS DESCRIPTION
- attend monthly lesson plan meeting
- read to the class ~ 2 hours/month
- lessons include reading book, customizing lesson plan including activities for grade/class, copying and/or preparing materials needed ~ 2 hours/month
